WILD WHITE PEONY
In the south of Yunnan, in the steep region of Xishuangbanna, the ancestral cradle of tea in China, Youle Mountain stands out among the six sacred tea mountains. It is mentioned in the imperial archives of the Qing Dynasty. At an altitude of 1,320 metres, in the heart of lush, preserved vegetation, century-old wild tea trees (some of which reach more than ten metres in height) unfurl leaves of rare beauty. From spring to autumn, each leaf carries within it a part of this ancestral history where nature and the expertise of local planters unite in perfect harmony. Presented in a black Mariage Frères pouch.
